Today is Marine Day.
It is a Japanese national holiday celebarated on the third Monday in July.
Japan is the only one country which has "Marine Day" as a national holiday in the world.
According to the national holidays law, Marine Day is to thank for privilege from the ocean.
For me, Marine Day is the start of the summer.
Oh well, Hawaii is always summer!

本日は海の日です！
海の日というのは毎年７月の第三月曜日に祝われる国民の祝日です。
唯一日本のみが海の日を国民の祝日としているそうですよ。
祝日法によりますと、海の日というのは海の恩恵に感謝する日だそうです。
私にとって海の日は夏の始まりです。
まぁ、ハワイは常夏ですが！
