Kobebe was made by Tomesode.
Tomesode (留袖) is a type of Kimono. It is an expensive formal dress worn by married women.
Originally, there was a custom that the long sleeves of the furisode were shortened after marriage, thereby creating a tomesode.
This was because the long swinging sleeves would be impractical when the married woman worked in the kitchen.
The word "tomesode" itself means "formal dress of a married woman."
The actual Kimono is really big and need to take really good care.
Kobebe is not that big but has same quality!

留袖は着物の一種で、既婚女性用の高価な物です。
もともとは結婚後、振袖の長い袖を短くすることから留袖が出来ました。
長い袖は台所仕事をする際に邪魔になったからだそうです。
留袖自体の意味は、「既婚女性のためのフォーマルドレス」だそうです。
実際の着物は大きいですしお手入れがとても大変です。
