My name is Ryoko who is a trainee of Sannaka-West.
This is the first time for me to post a blog.
Today, I would like to introduce one of the items which just came back
from Las Vegas show helded in last January.
This beautiful divider is called Goto nuri.
It is painted with japanese lacquer, and has a uique design on its surface.
A Japanese professional used his top fingers and patted on the surface many times
to make its finger-print's design.
This Goto nuri technique is from Kagawa Japan which area has been famous
for lacquer traditional painting technique.
Since it is rare and the number of professionals has been getting small,
each item is becoming very valuable and has a sticker to proof its quality.
This is the sticker.
Due not to get poisened by lacker,
those professionals have immunity since they were kids.
We have a lot more lacquer stuffs inside the store,

第一回目は、
1月のラスベガスショーからようやく帰ってきた商品のひとつをご紹介します。
こちらの衝立は、後藤塗りと呼ばれる漆塗りの技法を用いた
鮮やかな深みのある赤と前面の花模様、
そしてそして熟練工の指先を使って、漆を塗った上から表面に細かく指紋をつけた
斬新でユニークな表現が特徴です。
この後藤塗りの技法は、
香川県が誇る伝統的な漆塗りの技法のひとつで、
作品の一つ一つに金色の認定スティッカーが貼ってあります。
漆にかぶれないように、職人さんたちは幼い頃から免疫をつけているそうです。
生まれながらに漆職人として育てられたのだと思うと感慨深いです。
