有田焼は、佐賀県有田町とその周辺で作られた磁器です。

そして、これらは日本で最も古い陶器だと言われています。

透き通った白い磁器に、美しく描かれた赤や藍色の絵柄が特徴です。

描かれた模様は縁起のいい意味を持つ象徴の絵がほとんどです。
