Some day before, one customer asked me how to remove the rust in the Tetsubin.
I checked it, it says Tetsubin gets rust as long as keep using that.
When you boil the water, if the water is clear, you can use that for drink.
Even if the water is unclear,the rust in the Tetsubin is no problem for health.it's just make the taste of tea bad and please never scrub in the Tetsubin.
This is the way to remove the rust, just put some tea leaves in Tetsubin and boil it.This is the best way to do.
To do not get rust, remove the water in Tetsubin using the stove after use it. that's it!

先日お客様から鉄瓶の錆の落とし方について質問を頂きました。
早速調べてみると、鉄瓶はそもそも使用している限り錆びてしまうものなのだそうです。
お湯を沸かした時に、濁っていなければ問題なくそのまま使用することが可能だそうです。
お湯が濁っていても鉄瓶の錆は身体に害はなく、お茶の味が悪くなるだけなので錆をこすって落とすことは決してしてはいけないそうです。
錆の落とし方ですが、お茶の葉を入れて煎じるのが一番の方法だそうです。
鉄瓶を錆にくくするポイントは”使用後は軽く火にかけ水分を蒸発 させるなど、内部を乾燥させること！”これだけです。
お手入れ方法は簡単で30年40年と長く使え、鉄瓶で入れたお湯は身体にもよいそうです。
